We Have Lift Off!!

I went outside today to check on my plants to see how they were doing. And what i found was a pleasant surprise! My mustard green seeds decided they were ready to get their grow on and give me some plant action!
We are on our way to some yummy mustard greens and hopefully the others will decide to join soon!!

Thank you all!!

Finally Warm and My Toes are Happy!

"...whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." Galatians 6:7a (KJV)

I finally planted my seeds. I know its late but I have been busy and its been kind of cool the last couple of weeks. The weather was up to 80 degrees it felt so good and I finally had a free day. What better then to speed my day outside and in the glorious sun.

Had my Husband helping put soil in the cartons.

In all I planted 20 seeds. 14 of which are tomatoes. Peas, spinach mustard greens, carrots, sweet chocolate peppers, and lettuce. I am really excited! Can not wait until I can see progress!

*Food For Thought*
Life is like planting seeds. You will sprout what you plant. If you plant discord, discord will come back. If you plant hate, hate will arise. If you plant love, kindness, and truth, you will grow love, kindness, and truth. The fruit of your seeds won't come up automatically it will take time.

Finally!

Well it looks like the weather is finally going to break. It is suppose to be in the 70's this whole week. I have also acquired the help of my uncle. He runs a local greenhouse and garden store. He is going to be helping me get started with how to set the gardens up and purchasing plants. I am excited to be starting this process!

I'm getting anxious to start my garden. The weather is not cooperating with me though. This week though we are going to be getting some seeds and things to get the plants started. Pictures to come soon

Hello Blogger World

This is my first time to ever blog. I plan to blog about my journey to filling my pantry for the winter by building and sustaining a fruit and vegetable garden. I have never done this on my own before. So it is sure to be exciting. Hope you come back often to see my progress.
